ARTIST BIO
Lisa Gwen is a Toronto based ceramic artist and graduate from Sheridan's Craft and Design program. She has a background in graphic design and a history of varied interests including photography, glass, iron and fiber art. She can be found enrolled in workshops, enthralled in internet research and podcasts or playing in her studio.
Lisa has won several awards for her design and technical innovations; and hopes to continue to push the boundaries between craft and art in her exploration of materials, process and inspirational focus.
Lisa has taught several workshops and pottery classes. She always enjoys the opportunity to share ideas and inspiration that come from the arts community. She continues to create work that challenges and excites her and hopes to share, exhibit, and teach the arts and craft she loves.
